GIV offers a "pay-what-you-can" tuition in 2021 to make sure every young Vermonter can participate.
Having online Immersions this summer means no room and board costs, so we’re able to keep the tuition way down. Tuition is now “pay-what-you-can.” There’s no financial aid application needed!
That means if your family can only pay $50 or $150 or $350, that’s all you’ll need to pay. You choose. For those able to send more than the suggested $550, your donation can help less-fortunate students attend too.
Payment information will be made available in April once the first students have been accepted. Instructions will be provided for paying online via credit/debit or mailing a check directly to our office. If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected].
Payment for services provided are not tax-deductible, but any amount you contribute above $550 can be deducted from your taxes.
Students must submit an online application to be considered for GIV programs; payment prior to acceptance does not entitle student(s) to attend.
Online payment options coming soon!
You can apply in confidence knowing that if your program is cancelled for any reason, including COVID-19, all money you have paid towards enrollment will be refunded.
If you decide not to attend and we receive written notice of this at least two weeks prior to the start of the program, we will refund your payment.
If you have questions or additional concerns, please reach us at [email protected].
Residents of states other than Vermont accepted to GIV Institutes are not eligible for subsidized tuition. Students from border schools in NH, NY and MA which serve a significant proportion of Vermonters may submit an application for reduced tuition to GIV to be considered for any scholarship funds that may be available to those specific locations.
*Please Note – Scholarships are not redeemable for cash.
