Calling all Vermont high school students who want to organize and work together to create change!
If you answered YES to any of the above, this is your chance! Join us for “Vermont Politics In Action,” a free event at the Statehouse for youth who are ready to make change in their communities.
You will experience how laws get passed at the Statehouse with a legislator as your guide. Attend a panel discussion with advocates, learn about the political process, and get a chance to explore and discuss your viewpoints– working towards real solutions.

Combat digital attacks, learn about cryptography and modular arithmetic models, and get a glimpse into the ever-changing world of technology.
This free program offers a experiential learning adventure, diving into the innovations at the intersection of cybersecurity and AI.
Offering a wealth of workshops and technical concepts, the experience will offer hands-on explorations and an interactive Q&A with a panel of cyber professionals. Expand your understanding of the digital world with this technological adventure!

The Governor’s Institutes of Vermont will be hosting a series of incredible free programs for Vermont high school students called “One Day Adventures!”
Each “Adventure” session is led by experts in the field and is designed to offer a meaningful and educational experience, sharing the same values and missions of our larger Summer Institutes.
Every Vermont high school student in grades 9-12 is welcome to attend, whether they have attended a GIV Summer Session or if they are new to GIV!
One Day Adventures are FREE for any and every Vermont high school student. Registering is easy, and everyone who registers will be welcome to attend.

Get a behind-the-scenes look at what engineers and technicians do at one of Vermont’s premier aerospace and aeronautical manufacturing facilities. Spend the day touring the facility, participating in a case study of an actual manufacturing engineering challenge, and connecting with the G.S. Precision employees who work on projects for the Department of Defense and companies like SpaceX.

Set at Champlain College, this One Day Adventure connects you with peers who share your interests and ignite your passions as you explore game design, digital art, programming, and more!

Are you interested in pursuing a career in medicine by gaining life-saving skills?
Join NVTAHEC and GIV for the First Aid Field Day!
At this completely free event, you will have the opportunity to learn easy, yet life saving skills such as CPR, bleeding control and patient assessment from trained medical professionals, as well as gaining insight into the innerworkings of our Emergency Medical Services.
The day will conclude with a mass casualty incident simulation where you will have the opportunity to put your new skills into action by assessing and triaging patients during this fun and exciting scenario! Lunch will be provided.

Join GIV and GlobalFoundries for “Engineering the Solution,” a world-opening Engineering experience from one of the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturers based right here in Vermont.
This free opportunity is available to any Vermont tech school student interested in real-world engineering. Hosted by GlobalFoundries, students will see how professional engineers work to analyze and solve problems through their designs. As a mid-week offering, we invite educators to bring their class but can also accommodate individual students who are interested in attending.
