Grace Potter, the award-winning musician and artist, attended the Arts Institute (GIA) in 2000. Grace has said that attending GIA “blew the doors open” for her creative journey and that GIA made her realize that she wasn’t alone in her aspirations to do something bigger.
Therefore, it felt like the perfect fit to invite Grace back to GIA, not only to perform, but also to teach a song-writing class and build a song with 2025 GIA students!
Joined by GIA faculty beccs, Grace led students in writing the “GIA Anthem,” written in one afternoon and performed live.
