GIV offers a "pay-what-you-can" tuition in 2020 to make sure every young Vermonter can participate.
The Advanced Leadership Immersion will be held online, so without room and board costs we’re able to make the tuition more affordable. Tuition is “pay-what-you-can” and there’s no financial aid application needed!
While suggested tuition is $600, it doesn’t matter if your family can only pay $25 or $250, the choice is up to you. For those able to contribute over $600, your donation will go to help less-fortunate students attend.

Payment for services provided are not tax-deductible, but any amount you contribute above $400 can be deducted from your taxes.
Students must submit an online application to be considered for GIV programs; payment prior to acceptance does not entitle student(s) to attend.
Payments are no longer being accepted now that applications are closed.
You can apply in confidence knowing that if your program is cancelled for any reason, including COVID-19, all money you have paid towards enrollment will be refunded.
If you decide not to attend, refunds can be provided if we are given at least two weeks notice prior to the start of the program.

Help GIV enroll a student who cannot afford full tuition by contributing scholarship funds today. Your one-time or yearly gift helps make sure that GIV is open to all young Vermonters with a passion for learning, plus it’s fully tax-deductible. For more information, contact [email protected].
Residents of states other than Vermont accepted to GIV Institutes are not eligible for subsidized tuition. Students from border schools in NH, NY and MA which serve a significant proportion of Vermonters may submit an application for reduced tuition to GIV to be considered for any scholarship funds that may be available to those specific locations.
